Deborah L. Duarte is the Deputy Director of Transportation for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), bringing 29 years of experience in the school bus industry. She is committed to delivering safe, efficient, and responsive transportation for students and staff.

Throughout her career, she has held various roles, including School Bus Driver, Assistant Area Bus Supervisor, Area Bus Supervisor, Regional Transportation Manager, and now Deputy Director. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Public Sector Management with a focus on Leadership and Management from California State University, Northridge (CSUN).
 

Deborah is passionate about advancing transportation through electrification and modernization, envisioning a future where these innovations drive growth. She is dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition through effective change management as LAUSD moves forward.

Michael Clark is the Regional Transportation Manager in Region E. He oversees routes that support schools in Local Districts Northeast, Northwest, West, and Central.

Mr. Clark’s career in the school bus industry spans 36 years, with over 34 of those years as a dedicated employee of LAUSD. He has served in multiple capacities as a Driver, Assistant Area Bus Supervisor, Area Bus Supervisor, Regional Transportation Planner, and Regional Transportation Manager.

Mr. Clark is a product of LAUSD and takes great pride in supporting the students of LAUSD attain academic success.
