Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) - Para español oprima aqui
1. What should I do if my family is new to the District?
Students will first need to be enrolled to start their first day of school. After enrollment, the school will provide the parent with a PIN in 1 to 3 days. Once a PIN is received, parents may register for an account in the Parent Portal where the student will be linked to the parent's Parent Portal account. For Parent Portal access support, parents may reach out to the school directly or call the Family Hotline at (213) 443-1300.
Once the student is linked in the parent's account, parents may proceed to opting in for transportation.
2. Does my student qualify for transportation?
Transportation is provided based on demand during Opt-In Period, availability and transportation rules. Elementary students who live more than 1 mile from school and secondary students who live more than 2 miles away are eligible to request transportation. All transportation services are subject to available routes. Once your request is approved and transportation is confirmed, you will receive your assigned route number along with pick-up and drop-off details. For elementary students, pick-up and drop-off locations are at nearby elementary schools. For middle and high school students, stops are located at local secondary school sites.
